When women get all dressed up for a night out on the town, an essential part of their outfit is the evening bag. No outfit is complete without one and no woman would venture out empty handed. Evening bags have always been a way of showing off a certain status symbol, whether by material, size or design. They started out a few centuries ago as small luxury items with fancy embroidery, then the emphasis changed to size and so they became larger and more elaborately designed and crafted. With the creation of factories, handbags were mass produced and started following fashion trends and demand from the mainstream market.
