Happy St. Paddy’s Day!

I’m wearing one of my favorite pairs of green leather Maryjanes, naturally.
Anyway, I thought I’d share some fun, green shoes in support of all of those folks out there who are getting ready to tell tall tales, drink green beer, and consume their annual portion of corned beef and cabbage (though I understand this is a particularly Irish-American interpretation of the date).
Unfortunately, bright greens are a bit out of favor this season. In fact, while you will find tons of military-drab, olive, and borderline-khaki tones out there in fashion-land, few truly-festive greens are to be found.
Luckily, where there’s a stubborn streak (guilty as charged), there’s a way.
May I present the ‘Opel’ satin pump by Badgley Mischka ($110). With a touch of sparkle at the toe, it’s a bit of a classic style  -  and likely to be much more than a once a year indulgence – unlike the aforementioned corned beef et. al.
