Hippie, hipster, Boho-Chic, whatever you like to call it, the bohemian look is an essential style for Spring 2011. For some it`s just straight up how they dress…I can think of tons of women who have been rocking the bohemian look since 2005 at least. There`s nothing wrong with that. It`s hot! To keep it fresh though, you`ve got to add a fresh breath of the 2011 spirit that so many designers have been on to this year. It`s a thrifty, care free look, but if you don`t want to look like a flower child or a beggar you have to really pay attention to the details. I think it`s all about the accessories.

Shoes are key. One of the best parts about Spring is pulling out the sandals. This year I like the high cork wedges by Sergio Rossi, and the Gucci Rope Sandals. Both are comfortable and totally styling – one of the benefits of the bohemian look.
Tell me this Marc by Marc Jacobs Ruffia clutch is not the biggest inspiration. You can build entire outfits around this vintage shop, Indie style look. It`s so Williamsburg! The sky blue is earthy without being hippie. It`s Vintage without being old and smelly.
Wholesale handbags can take your bohemian look in several different directions.
I`ve always loved the Chloe Marcie as a go-to for day to day. It`s an incredibly hot wholesale leather purse at the moment.
For a little wilder “Ethnic” statement (which is a totally stupid term) this Rebecca Minkoff Navaho Stud Bag is saucy.
Finally, the Marc by Marc Jacobs Saddlery Cadet Bag reminds us of the schoolgirl element to this style, as well as the vintage shop look. This is a cute, super versatile little purse that relies on gorgeous leather.
This is a flexible, varied trend. I`m certain others can add some awesome suggestions, so feel free!
